Friends of Nolensville Parks (FONP) has officially launched as a community-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting, enhancing, and protecting Nolensville’s parks and green spaces.

Formed by a founding board of local volunteers, FONP brings together residents with diverse backgrounds and a shared commitment to preserving safe, accessible, and welcoming outdoor spaces for people of all ages.

“Parks are at the center of what makes Nolensville such a special place to live,” said Mary Kate [Last Name], Board President of Friends of Nolensville Parks. “They bring joy, connection, and outdoor experiences to all of us. Our board is honored to partner with the Town as we begin supporting projects and initiatives that strengthen our shared spaces.”

As an independent nonprofit, Friends of Nolensville Parks can raise funds, apply for grants, and coordinate volunteer efforts to support park-related initiatives in collaboration with local partners. Early efforts will focus on building community awareness, engaging volunteers, and identifying future projects that improve safety, accessibility, and long-term care of local parks.

Residents, businesses, and community partners are invited to follow along and get involved as Friends of Nolensville Parks begins its work.
