Community, Conversation, and Conservation at Be Nice Day

Be Nice Day at Mill Creek Middle School was all about community, conversation, and conservation.

We loved meeting new Friends during the service fair and sharing ways community members can get involved in supporting local parks and green spaces here in Nolensville. Events like these are such a meaningful reminder that caring for our parks starts with helping people feel connected to them.

We’re especially grateful to our partners at Williamson County Parks and Recreation and Naturalist John Polny for leading a thoughtful discussion on invasive species and the impact they have on ecosystems along Mill Creek. Conversations like these help build awareness of how small actions can support healthier, more resilient natural spaces.

Days like this reinforce why community engagement matters, bringing people together, creating opportunities to learn, and strengthening connections to the places we all share.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and spent time learning with us. We’re excited to continue finding ways to support, promote, and enhance parks and green spaces in Nolensville for the benefit of our community.
